Da Nang’s location also offers easy access to The Imperial City of Huế, The Old Town of Hội An and the Mỹ Sơn ruins, popular UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Like much of Vietnam, Da Nang offers a wide variety of delicious Vietnamese dishes, including the famous noodle soup “Mi Quang” that originates from the region.

Da Nang International Airport is the city’s main airport, and it has both domestic and international flights. You can fly directly to Da Nang from major cities in Vietnam, and some international cities. 

You can easily get around Da Nang by walking, traditional taxi, motorbike taxi (xe ôm), and ride-railing services. The best way is to download and use the app called Grab. It allows you to book a motorbike, taxi, or order food easily without having to bargain the prices. 

You definitely should use Grab, they have an English version. I loved using this app while traveling to Vietnam, it made my trip so much easier and enjoyable!

Non Nuoc Beach, Bac My An Beach, and Son Tra Peninsula are ideal locations for families and couples seeking more luxury and quieter areas.

I recommend spending at least 3-4 days in Danang, which allows you to enjoy the beaches, visit popular attractions, take day trips to Hoi An, and enjoy local street food.

Where did I stay in Da Nanng?

When I first visited Da Nang, I stayed for 4 nights at the Seahorse Tropical Da Nang Hotel by Haviland. It is a good value for money hotel in a prime location, easy access to major sights and Han River. I had a clean room with a comfortable bed. My breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices.
