Its plant life, fountains and décor, both inside and out, make it feel like an A-list mansion, straight out of a movie or music video.

The hotel features a fabulous, tropically styled pool in the centre of its grounds, while there is also a small restaurant that serves a fabulous hot breakfast each morning. Rooms are all individually styled, offering a range of experiences, dependant on which one you get. That said, they are all beautifully done, with comfortable furnishings, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a private bathroom present in each.

Situated at the edge of the nightclub area, it’s surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars, while a supermarket, beach and the international convention centre are just a few minutes’ walk away. For anyone planning to travel a little further from the hotel, the nearest bus stop is just 200 yards away. If you would prefer to rent a car, all guests also receive free parking for the duration of their stay.

Despite all of its style and elegance, suites here start at incredibly reasonable prices. They are, however, limited in number. So, if you do intend on staying here, I would suggest not leaving it too late to book your room.

While the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant on site, it is located next to the Las Americas Shopping Mall. This features a huge range of shops, bars and restaurants, catering to all manner of guests, no matter what their personal tastes may be.

However, when you look a little closer, it becomes clear that this is definitely a place with plenty to offer, not least of which being its amazing value.

For starters, the resort features its own private marina, which is something associated more with country clubs and definitely wouldn’t be expected from a hotel in this price range. In addition to that, the grounds also contain a beautiful pool, surrounded by stunning gardens and featuring a restaurant and a bar, which is located inside a traditional Palapa thatched hut.

Located just off of La Isla beach, it’s just a short walk into the clubs and bars of the hotel zone, while the city centre itself is only 15 minutes away by car. This means guests will be able to enjoy all the convenience of staying in either of those more famous locations, for a fraction of the price.

While the rooms themselves are all styled quite basically, much like the hotel itself, they do all feature cable TV and a mini bar, as well as kitchen and dining areas. This provides guests with plenty of options for how they choose to feed and entertain themselves during their stay.

Nomads Experience HotelAnother 3-star destination, this time located in the city centre, one of the best budget hotels in Cancun, Nomads Experience Hotel is one of the most flamboyantly decorated hotels in the city. Many of the hotels on this list I’ve given a reason for why they are priced so affordably. In this case, I simply don’t know the reason. So, if you are leaning towards staying here, perhaps get it booked sooner rather than later, before they change their minds and put the price up to where you would usually expect it to be.

As a chain well renowned for offering quality, affordable accommodation, it is perhaps unsurprising to find an Aloft hotel on a list like this. Surrounded by stunning beaches, the Aloft Cancun provides a fabulous blend of quality, location, value and name recognition.

Located in Cancun’s famous hotel zone, this colourfully decorated, modern, 4-star hotel is ideal for younger travellers. Its vibrant style will allow you to feel at home, while the location gives you access to some of the most notorious party hotspots in the region.
